My desire to connect with others is innate. And it’s crucial to my well-being.

Positive connections provide a sense of belonging and acceptance. These kinds of good relationships also provide the support I need to help me manage stress and cope with difficult situations.

My interactions with people who have different backgrounds and experiences is an opportunity to learn and broaden my perspectives. All of the connections in my life have contributed to my personal growth and development in this way.

Being with others, and feeling connected, increases my capacity for empathy and compassion towards others. I’m better at understanding and taking care of others.

I consider the connections I have with others and ask myself, what kind of energy and experiences are they bringing into my life? And vice versa.
